Rebecca Inman, LMHC, is the founder and clinical director of The Institute for Reunification in Vero Beach, Florida. A Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, Rebecca brings over two decades of experience in psychology, conflict resolution, and family systems. Her work focuses on restoring stability and rebuilding trust within families affected by high-conflict separation, parental alienation, and emotional estrangement.
Rebecca’s background uniquely bridges the clinical and legal worlds. Having served families across diverse and complex circumstances, she understands both the psychological impact of fractured attachment and the procedural realities of the court system. This dual expertise allows her to navigate highly charged family dynamics with structure, compassion, and clarity.
At The Institute for Reunification, Rebecca leads a process that is trauma-informed, structured, and child-centered. Each case is approached with precision, transparency, and respect for every participant. Her reunification work emphasizes accountability, emotional pacing, and education—helping parents and children move toward renewed connection while maintaining safety and containment.
Rebecca’s professional philosophy centers on three guiding principles: truth, empathy, and accountability. She believes that healing occurs when families are given both the structure to feel safe and the courage to face difficult truths. Her approach is direct yet compassionate, balancing firmness with understanding and always honoring the child’s emotional experience.
Over the course of her career, Rebecca has developed a reputation for handling complex, court-involved cases with professionalism and integrity. She is recognized for her ability to remain grounded under pressure, maintain neutrality in emotionally charged environments, and guide families toward constructive, sustainable outcomes.
